Setbacks happen. Preparing for them helps you recover quickly and stay committed.

Activities:

  • Identify situations where you might struggle with your new habit and write down a “what to do next” plan.
  • Record a personal pep talk to listen to when you experience a setback.

Why Is This Important?

Understanding setbacks as part of the process keeps you from getting discouraged.
