What’s This About?
Today, we’re going to explore how your perspective can change how you get along with friends and other people. Understanding how others see things can make playing and working together more fun and peaceful!
Fun Activities:
Activity 1: Think about a time when you and a friend had a disagreement or didn’t get along. Write or draw what happened. Then, try to imagine how your friend saw the situation. How do you think their view was different from yours?
Activity 2: Watch or listen to a group of people talking or playing together. Notice how different people have different ideas or feelings about what’s happening. How does this change the way they interact with each other? Share what you observed with someone and discuss it.
Why Is This Important?
Seeing things from another person’s point of view can help you understand your friends better, avoid arguments, and build stronger friendships.
Chris Thomas Notes:
We don’t argue because friends share so much in common as much respect different preferences and ideas.
