Level 2 – Day 1-2: Recognizing Negative Thoughts

What’s This About?

Let’s start by identifying what negative thoughts look like. These are unhelpful ideas that pop into your mind, often when you’re stressed or upset. Becoming aware of them is the first step to overcoming them.

5 Minute Activities:

1. Write down three negative thoughts you had recently. What were they about?  

2. Reflect on how those thoughts made you feel and how they affected your actions.

Why Is This Important?

Recognizing negative thinking helps you understand how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions, giving you the power to make changes.
