What’s This About?
Perfectionism often fuels negative thinking by setting unrealistically high standards that are impossible to meet. Learning to let go of perfectionism allows for growth and progress.
Fun Activities:
Activity 1: Identify one area of your life where you feel the need to be perfect. What would happen if you allowed yourself to be “good enough” instead of perfect?
Activity 2: Try doing something only “almost perfect” on purpose. Reflect on the consequences.
Why Is This Important?
Letting go of perfectionism frees you from the constant pressure to be flawless. It helps you embrace imperfection as part of the learning process.
Chris Thomas Notes:
Very few actions need A+ work. Most actions require compliance and a deadline more than perfection. Almost perfect on schedule is great! Be selective.
