Level 2 – Day 3-4: Challenging Negative Thoughts


What’s This About?

Now that you can recognize negative thoughts, it’s time to challenge them. Are they really true? Do they help you? Often, negative thoughts are just stories we tell ourselves.

Fun Activities:

1. Pick one of the negative thoughts from Day 1 and challenge it by asking, “Is this really true?” Write down a more balanced, positive alternative thought.  

2. Talk to a friend or family member about how they challenge their own negative thoughts.

Why Is This Important?

Challenging negative thoughts helps you break free from them, making room for more helpful, realistic thinking.
